Hello, I am Sarah, I am a yoga teacher for adults,teens and pre-teens. My journey to yoga began at a time where I felt lost, feeling like I didn’t know what my purpose was. When I first found my yoga practise I felt as though everything slowed down and that everything outside the studio no longer mattered, I was in my own little world. As my love for the practise grew, It felt like I had found a calling to share my practise with others.
Over the years my practise has changed and developed, with different classes available. I’ve always enjoyed reading and learning, as I continue on my own journey I will continue to learn and grow my own knowledge and practice to support those around me.
Through my excitement in learning and developing my knowledge, I look to support pre-teens and teens as they navigate their way through life, supporting teens in finding their yoga practise and tools to support them through life. I feel that for many of us if we had found yoga during our school years we may be calmer, have a deeper understanding of how we feel and have the information to support ourselves as we entered adulthood.
My dream (as I’ve come to realize) is to help people no matter their age or ability to find their own yoga practice, to look within themselves and find peace and clarity in a world. Where not everything goes to plan, there’s a few bumps in the road as I’ve come across myself on many occasions. However knowing I have my yoga practice and breathwork I can support myself through these bumps and come out the other side stronger.
Yoga classes are led to support students just starting their yoga journey and those who have been practising for a while. Focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, health and wellbeing.
Classes led to support students at the beginning of their yoga journey, working with students of all ages. In the classes there will be a focus on movement, fun, laughter, working together and some games involved as well as working on yoga poses.
Using tradition and practical approaches to meditation and relaxation, helping students find their own path to self discovery, coping strategies and stress reduction.
Coaching during these sessions is for instructors who are new to the world of yoga/Pilates/holistic therapies, helping them on their new path. These sessions can cover anything from lesson structuring and pricing, to legal understanding, legal obligations, and branding
